About the author

Mitchell Oakley Smith is a freelance writer. He has written about fashion and design for such publications as Belle, GQ Australia, Myer Emporium, Russh, The Australian, Vogue Australia and Wish. He has spoken extensively on fashion as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, Brisbane, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival. He was the keynote speaker and guest judge of the 2010 Australian Textile Institute Centenary Student Design Awards, Melbourne. He lives in Sydney.
