RETIRE ALIVEby HARLEY SIMPSONHealth is our greatest wealth.See other books Inkstone Press titles click here Used softcover book in excellent condition, signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, 221 pages Too often we realise the importance of good health only when we don't have it. When the chips are down and we are sick, or have just been told that we have a serious disease: that is the crunch time for many people! For those on the brink of retirement or who have recently retired, a sick future would be disastrous. Instead of a healthy and fulfilling time enjoying life's pleasures, or travelling the world, it could be a compromised existence of worry, illness and dependence on others. Genetics and luck do play a part in our health, but ultimately what happens is mainly our responsibility, if we choose to accept it. It's your choice; it's your life! About the author: Harley Simpson graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1971. He is a qualified secondary school teacher and NLP Practitioner. Having taught Health, Physical Education and Nutrition in South Australian secondary schools since 1972, Harley has a special interest in the relationship between modern lifestyle patterns and health. As a baby boomer, he has spent years researching the lifestyle changes that can help baby boomers avoid cancer, heart attack and stroke. This book sets out his findings. Harley has also coached volleyball for more than 30 years, from school teams through to the national level. His other recreational interests include reading, golf, tennis and snow skiing.
