He has worked for the University of California at Davis for 18 years, designing and delivering over thirty different training topics. He designed and delivered hundreds of trainings for Santa Rosa Junior College over the past 26 years. Chance has written four books (three on learning and one on managing time). Chance has worked with over 300 organizations, from Agilent to Zero King. He currently coaches executives in leadership and creativity, strategic and succession planning. He is training groups both within academic settings and in the private sector. Chance is a very effective innovator contributing to long term gains in customer service, employee loyalty and increased profits. Steve Wallis received his Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University in 2006. His academic work focuses on “theory of theory” where he is pioneering insights and tools to support scholars as they create increasingly efficacious theory. Steve’s interdisciplinary interests span the social sciences. He is engaged in studies of organizational theory, collaborative human systems, knowledge management, and others. Dr. Wallis has ten years of experience as an independent consultant in Northern California. There, in a variety of industries, he supports consultants, trainers, and leaders on issues related to collaboration, communication, succession planning, creativity, organizational change, and knowledge management.
