The CWA Cookery Book and Household Hints is an Australian publication. All measurements are metric, imperial and cup and spoon. The Country Women's Association of Australia of Western Australia is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation that was founded in 1924 in Nungarin. A branch was formed in the city the following year and there are strong connections between city and country branches. Its aim is to improve the well being of all people especially those in country areas by promoting courtesy, cooperation, community effort, ethical standards and the wise use of resources.
