Please Note: A slow cooker or crock pot is not required for any of the recipes in this gorgeous cookbook, although many of the recipes could be adapted for cooking in a slow cooker. About the author Joanne Glynn began her career in the food industry as the owner of a specialist cheese shop. She then ran a small catering business for six years, with the emphasis on Italian cooking. In 1985 Joanne opened Pasello, a fresh pasta and Italian foods business. With a natural flair for writing as well as for cooking, Joanne has published many articles in Gourmet Traveller and other magazines over the years. She has also written and tested recipes for many Murdoch Books titles, and is greatly sought-after as a cook for food photography. She is the author of several books on Mediterranean cuisine.
