Sumptuously illustrated by internationally acclaimed photographer Petrina Tinslay, The Accidental Foodie combines delectable recipes and fascinating insights into the world of food, and will appeal to the foodie in all of us.
The Accidental Foodie profiles some of the world's most respected foodies together with several of their signature recipes. The result is a sumptuous collection of must-have recipes and inspirational stories. Each foodie has contributed 3 or 4 superb recipes.
About the author
Neale Whitaker's childhood on the south coast of England left him lusting after blue skies. A brief stint in PR led him (quite by accident) into publishing and (completely by accident) into food magazines. In the UK he was the original editor of Food Illustrated - now Waitrose Food Illustrated - and in Australia he has been the founding editor of the popular food magazine Delicious and an editor of Vogue Entertaining and Travel. He is currently the international editorial director of Sydney-based FPC Magazines. The Accidental Foodie is his first book.
