• Summer the Holiday Fairy

Summer the Holiday Fairy has got her work cut out. Jack Frost has moved to Rainspell Island for the summer and it's a very different place to when Rachel and Kirsty visited in the first series, the Rainbow Magic Colour Fairies. Now there are no tinkling ice-cream vans or sailing boats. There's not even any sand on the beach! Jack Frost has taken it all to build his giant sandcastle. There are three special shells that control the holiday atmosphere, and Summer the Holiday Fairy needs Rachel and Kirsty's help to get them back.

• Kylie the Carnival Fairy

  The best part of summer has lost its sparkle!

  Jack Frost is at it again! He and his goblins are always causing trouble. This time, they've stolen the three magic hats that make Wetherbury's summer carnival so much fun. If Kylie the Carnival Fairy doesn't get them back soon, the carnival will be ruined! Rachel and Kirsty can't let that happen. They're determined to help Kylie track down the hats! But will they find them in time, or will this year's big carnival be a big flop?

• Flora the Fancy Dress Fairy

Rachel's cousin is holding a summer fancy dress ball in a Scottish Castle and Rachel and Kirsty have been invited along. There's lots of preparation for the party and Rachel and Kirsty are looking forward to helping out and exploring the castle and its grounds, as well as being very excited about the dressing up part!

But Jack Frost is threatening to spoil the party completely. He was planning to hold a goblin party in that same castle, and he's not going to let those pesky humans get in his way. In fact, he plans to steal the items that the Fancy Dress Fairy needs to make sure the ball is a success, and ruin the party, so that his 'Goblin Reunion' can take place just as he wanted. Rachel and Kirsty must help Flora the Fancy Dress Fairy to rescue her three magic items and make sure that Jack Frost and his naughty goblins don't ruin Fancy Dress parties forever!

 

Little girls love the Rainbow Magic series of books. They are perfect early readers or 'read out loud' bedtime stories. Each chapter is approx 10 - 14 pages long, with line drawings on most pages to break the text into manageable sections. To date there are 112 books in the series - 16 sets of books with 7 books in each set. There are also 20 Special Editions, with 3 stories in each book, and activity books as well.
