New boxed set of the 3 softcover chapter books in the Clarice Bean series. Great reading for ages 7-10.

Books to make your mind think and spin.

This cool collection of three of the Clarice Bean books includes Utterly Me, Clarice Bean; Clarice Bean Spells Trouble and Clarice Bean, Don't Look Now! The delightful wacky young heroine and her family have been an instant hit with many young readers!

In Utterly Me, Clarice Bean, when mysterious things start to happen, Clarice Bean finds it hard to concentrate ...especially as her best friend, Betty Moody, is nowhere to be seen. In Clarice Bean Spells Trouble, Clarice Bean might just be able to get out of a dreaded spelling bee by landing a starring role in the school musical. But when the naughtiest boy in class has a family problem, she does something utterly unexpected. In Clarice Bean, Don't Look Now, Clarice Bean has a list of worries, such as Worry No. 9: largish spiders. But lately, she's been more concerned with Worry No. 3: change, and how it sometimes comes along when you least expect it.

Irrepressible, sassy, quirky (and sometimes frenetic), the endearing, utterly entertaining Clarice Bean is the star of three full-length adventures featuring Lauren Child's wacky wit and eccentric visual energy. Now readers can easily keep pace with this spirited primary schooler, thanks to a boxed set offering all three of her fiction titles.

#1 Utterly Me, Clarice Bean. The first book in the bestselling series. 208 pages.

It's not easy to concentrate at school when mysterious things are happening all around you. In fact, Clarice Bean is starting to feel just like her favorite heroine: Ruby Redfort, schoolgirl detective. Clarice and her utterly best friend, Betty Moody, are planning to ace their book project about Ruby and win the class prize, until Betty disappears into thin air, and horrible teacher Mrs. Wilberton teams Clarice up with the naughtiest boy in school. Will her new partner ruin everything? Will Betty ever come back? And what on earth happened to the silver trophy everyone's hoping to win? Lauren Child brings her trademark wacky wit and eccentric visual energy to a full-length, fastpaced Clarice Bean episode that will charm even the most capricious reader.

#2 Clarice Bean Spells Trouble. The second book in the bestselling series. 192 pages.

Clarice Bean is back and she Spells Trouble – in a paperback full-length chapter book!

Clarice Bean seems to be in nonstop Trouble, almost as much as Karl Wrenbury, who is the naughtiest boy at school. Mrs. Wilberton is planning a Spelling Bee, and just thinking about it gives Clarice a Stomacheache. It’s a Good thing there is also going to be a class performance of The Sound of Music, and Clarice is EXCEPTIONORDINARILY keen on landing a Starring role. But when Karl Wrenbury has a family problem and gets into really big trouble, Clarice does something UTTERLY unexpected !

#3 Clarice Bean Don't Look Now. The third book in the bestselling series. 256 pages.

It’s the worry you hadn’t even thought to worry about that should worry you the most. At least that’s how it looks to Clarice Bean, who has been writing her worries in a notebook - things like Worry no. 1: infinity, or Worry no. 3: change. And now that her worst never-imagined worry has happened- her utterly best friend is moving away forever - Clarice doesn’t even care about her tickets to the Ruby Redfort, girl detective, movie premiere. That is, unless something happens to change things again. . . . Lauren Child’s trademark wit combines with spot-on insight in this hugely engaging story about childhood worries, unwanted changes, and finding friendships in the most surprising places.
